NI Connect May 12-14 2026, features a strong engineering-based technical schedule along with Leadership, Academic, and Partner days.
The technical sessions focus on to historically practical engineering highlights, including hardware, software, and systems engineering. LabVIEW is featured prominently, while practical use of AI is sprinkled through multiple sessions.
The Wednesday and Thursday morning keynote presentations are live streamed and are available via free registration.
To get a perspective on how hardware and software technologies have evolved over the years, it can both fun and thought provoking to look at the NI Week 1997 engineering keynote (29 years ago) where the PXIbus was introduced, internet-based instrumentation with along with remote front panels are demoed along with an early “zoom” type video call. In addition, the keynote drops a few hints of the coming of LabVIEW on FPGA which today plays an important role in real-time processing and control. (Also with a funny, unplanned fire alarm that interrupted the keynote)
